superb mirrors

does anyone know if the superb mirrors will fir the octavia??

and also what electronics is involved for the electric fold away action of the superb mirrors?

Not sure if they would fit an Octy, but as for self closing..I thinks they must have individual motors and controlled by the mirror adjustment switch/knob, with a 4th position. Sadly mine doesnt have this feature as its elegance only..

Yes there is another position on the window knob to fold mirrors in. On the Elegance Superb the passenger mirror also has a memory setting to specific key fob that moves to a revesing position when reverse gear is selected on the switch is in the L position. No idea if they are interchangeable for Octavia
Happily mine has this feature as its Elegance spec..

john, ya think the mirrors will fit an octavia?? as this is a feature that i would love to retro fit to my car

Just compared the mirrors on RS and Superb - The black window mounts are completely different shape where they fix to the door, The mirror housing also looks a slightly different shape. Its doubtful the mirror housing part would fit the Superb mounting.
