Simonez Teflon from Halfords. B&Q do it as well. Ł12-ish IIRC.

i got some seat protector spray from http://www.toughseal.co.uk/product.html

i bought a pack with the paint protection as wel, you will however need more than one bottle of the spray as the seats need 2 coats, i dont know if you can just buy the seat protector on its own, you could ring them and ask

The Simoniz teflon stuff is discontinued, some B&Qs have it left on the shelf if you are lucky.

B&Q do an aerosol 3M Scotchguard for around 4 quid which should be just as effective. Robert Dyas also do it, but it's 7 quid in there.

Looks like this: http://www.3m.com/us/home_leisure/sc..._protect.jhtml

Once the seats are dirty, what is the best cleaner people have found?

I got some CarPlan 'Interior Valet' in Asda, which has 'StainGuard'. Cleans AND protects allegedly. And it has a little brush thing in the lid... At Ł3-ish, even if it's not up to much, I'm hardly out of pocket.
