I've seen a few VR's on my travels and a couple modded skoda's

So i think we should get a register up, and then arrange a meet, i dont really know anywhere central for notts and derby peops.....
anyone got any ideas?

it would be great jsut to meet up with ya'll
and then one day arrange abig briskoda santa pod day

Iam near Loughborough so not far away.
Wouldn't be free until late July because of comittments.
Going to Le Mans next week and Castle Coombe 25/6 to watch diesels in VW Cup

I dont really know anywhere decent for a meet, only one i went to was at chillwell retail park.

anyone else got any places in mind?

i would have thought nearer the m1 the better
easy for derby notts and even leicester to get to unfortunatly can think of much other than the donnington area which aint really a nottingham meet then

im struglin to think of anywhere central for everyone.......jst had a great idea of us all at matlock bath, but we'd never all get parked on the front on a nice day bloody bikers! lmao

I'm in Ruddington just down the road from you

I'm regional organiser for a bike club and we usually meet up at The Unicorn, Gunthorpe Bridge. It's a nice location (looks over the river), good pub (food and drink) and a large carpark, easy access from Nottingham, Leicester unfortunatelly the wrong side of Notts for the Derby members but it's a nice drive and we all like driving our cars or we wouldn't be here

What about the Hurt Arms at Ambergate on the A6 between Derby and Cromford. We could meet there and go out towards Matlock later, or even drive up through Via Gelia (Cromford to Newhaven road A5102). It's one of the best roads in the UK IMHO

Think we should get a list of people who would want to meet (date being an issue for most i know)
then sort a date and then location - I'd sudjest a sunday as thats most likely the day people arnt at work
So copy and paste a list and we can go from there
