Default Oxford Edition V'Dub Show 4th November

Anybody interested in having a Briskoda stand at this?
Sunday the 4th of November
Oxford Edition show funnily enough in Oxford....

I think we can reserve space and turn up and pay on the day just like Edition 38

The venue:
Oxford United Football Ground (The Kassam Football Stadium)
Grenoble Road
Oxford
OX4 4XP

The price: £15.

Whose game?

it's quite local, so little brother could possibly be convinced to take his octy (if it's running ), but they could've held it somewhere a little less...pikey

yeah, because that happens to every car in black bird leys

for reaslistic people out there i have never had any issues with cars in BBL and i went to college there for 2 years, have been to the cinema that shares this car park many times and have friends/swmbo's family living there(infact my mazda was there for a few weeks before it was on the road) and no one i know has had any issues either. BBL had a reputation about 15 - 20 years ago for joy riding and car thefts but its fine now.

Seriously BBL? Car crime? I left my car there two days ago (went to see transformers) with the drivers window left (foolishly) open and nothing came of it, even my mints were still in the car! I'll be there!

Thats a good start, I asked if we could have 5-10 show spaces so theres room for more. If we need extra spaces i'm sure it won't be a problem.

Re: the security issue, i've never known it was a bad area. Just think though that there will be several thousand other V'dub enthuasists there that day so wouldn't have though security would be too much of an issue as they'll be a lot of people there.

Just updating the list...

Presumably this is an outdoor affair. My only concern is possible foul weather at this time of year. Any ideas on what the set up is with the club stands?

Hi Lee, club stands will be outdoor yes, but the whole stadium has been hired including all of the indoor areas.
I believe they'll be some special VAG indoor display and all of the indoor areas/bars etc will be open to us.

Re: club stands, theres a club area thats been set aside, I've asked for space for 10 cars but we can ask for more/less if it's needed.
We can turn up and pay on the day so no issues there.
We don't all need to arrive as a group, though it may be easier....i've plans for this too, will PM to all interested.
