Default Santa Pod RWYB 13th May 2006

Hullo

I wanna go back!

So, have seen a date in May (13th oooo-er ) which doesn't coincide with a weekend of a "performance car" day, which might be busier and propose this to be a RWYB day for Briskoda.

Should be a bit warmer by then. Cost is £30 for entry and unlimited runs. Who's coming with me. I am SO there. Meet up somewhere near the pod around 8.30, and convoy there for 9am start.

J,

Do you have to "run" or can you just pitch up and watch/take photo's?

Sorry, should have said and will edit first post.

Its £10 entry to the track to be a spectator for the day, which is worth it alone if they run the fireforce jet again... That was awesome on Saturday night - pretty much the only car there which took my mind off my busted CV joint. However strictly no passenger rides allowed.

Tell you what - do two lists - One as running on the strip (£30) and one just entry alone (£10)

Note: "Couple of spare driveshafts" - I will seriously bring one with me next time. Just need to find out where I can get one cheap - If I can get a full set for £100, I'll be doing that. Also need a couple of spare hub nuts, and stock up on the tools needed to swap them over - 36mm socket, spline for gearbox end, spanner for undoing hub off swingarm bit, and a big f***ing hammer to hammer the shaft out the hub.

Ross? If I missed anything off the above, do enlighten me.

No problems there - I promise.

If you break something like I did, I promise I'll tow you a few miles to Rushden and get AA Skoda assist out.

There are no other warranty issues that can be comprimised there. How observant is your dealer on here?

so Jase will be there with a tool kit, huh? he seemed to have some tools last time as he whipped out dave's leathery parts with no problem! and I was a little worried that he'd misplaced his nuts! as then I wouldn't have been able to get home! hahahaha!!!

aww, I really enjoyed pod! just wandering round, taking pictures....I'm a simple being!

I'm still up for the crack. And I may even risk not bringing any spare driveshafts.
