| I've seen this in the calender for this Sunday 7th May. It sounds quite interesting. Does anyone fancy meeting up and having a couple of hours down there? I'm told there should be a good few FWD Skodas. Come on guys don't make me go on my own ![]()

| i'll be there in my octavia tdi as my estelle is still in bits (i'll be parked with the skoda klub of doncaster & scunthorpe) it's a very friendly event, just turn up, bring a picnic (& an umbrella) the owners club try to make pretty patterns line ups of the same model / colour whatever you don't have to be a member of any club just turn up in any skoda the only rule is no donuts on the nice grass (other cakes are fine)

| Well it turned out to be an excellent meet with at least 63 Skodas of all ages, and a mixture of Trabants, Ladas, Moskvitches, Wartburgs, Dafs and Tatras. Lots to see and great people in a nice setting - we should aim to improve on this year's 5-strong presence next time round. Here's some pics (unashamedly of the older cars): Last edited by bryand; 18-08-2006 at 13:27. |

| The Estelles had a class of their own to celebrate their 30th birthday. We also had a look at the Tatras, with their air-cooled V8 engines. Oh, and my car came 3rd in the "modern" class which surprised me since I didn't know I had entered a competition! Last edited by bryand; 18-08-2006 at 13:26. |

| LOL, I was there too. Parked next to a Yellow Fab VRS, in my black GLX Octi. Had it hooked upto VAG-com for while to try (on a OC members laptop) and diagnose the fault codes I've been getting. A couple are "too high idle-intermittent" and "Can't set idle, out of range". So I'm going to try and sort myself a laptop with VAG-Com on, then clean the Throttle body and rset it using VAG-Com. |

| Damn. I didn't do the cakes. Took some home made sushi for my dinner, but made sure I had a coffee and bacon baguette when I arrived. Can't do a car rally without some form of bacon sarnie. |
