| Whilst attending the WSM Meet the C&F Meet came up on a number of ocassions and a number of other comments complaining about how we don't have enough meets in the North West ![]() Will has already started a "When's the next C&F Thread" so it looks like that will be taken care of by Rob himself ![]() I'm proposing another similar sort of meet... there are loads of country pubs up my way with lots of twisty country roads for us to explore. I'm looking at late January for the meet to take place... despending on peoples preferences etc. At one of the following locations: The Running Horses, Lydiate The Scotch Piper Inn, Lydiate Both pubs are within short distance of the M57 and M58... and have country roads galore ![]() Any comments or suggestions welcome ![]() Basic Schedule Meet at chosen pub Go for a brief drive before lunch Lunch at the pub Another drive Arrive back at pub for drinks/talk Trip down to Southport to go on the arcades... or the fair if it's open ![]() Finish back at the pub This is all open for revision btw ![]()

| Only just noticed this thread. Nice and local to me as I work in southport and live just of the M57. As for "drives" around the area. Can only really think more of "quick blasts" than drives.

| well she slayed the jap crap at trax, and that was without the rear arb and 312's on,depending on when this is,her next public outing could see the inclusion of kw cup suspesion, smf, spec stage 3 clutch and peloquin lsd, maybe a fmic, custom made exhaust and turbo conversion, and if i have enough cash the injectors will be done too ![]()

| hey i used the term jap crap very loosley,in a joking way,the fabia is a better all rounder than the afore mentioned jap cars, and tbh if i had never got my points i would still have the skyline, and when they come off i will be getting another, interiors are crap, they sup alot of petrol, and they arn't that comfortable, practical and mine with 400bhp and a track biased set up wasn't that good on the road either,i think the driving expierience in these cars as standard is over rated, and its only when you start messing with them they start to live up to the hype, the expense of owning one is unbelievable, and with a decent driver in a standard fabia will humiliate an average driver in his jap crap
