| Well I certainly thoroughly enjoyed my day! Excellent company and dry roads for the most part. Other than a bit more traffic towards the end, fairly quiet too! Bit windy though! ![]() I didn't take many pics during the day, but I have a few (including some evidence): Jay displaying his excellent parking skills: ![]() Gilly provides proof that many hours spent with your polishing equipment can still leave dirty residue: At the Red Lion: At Mam Tor: Jay failing to come to terms with being beaten at pool . . . . again: ![]()

| It was a good meet. Shame I couldn't fully enjoy the driving parts as the car was running badly and not just clogged up and needing a run , but at least I know whats wrong now so it can be sorted. Mind you, gave me an excuse to push a bit harder in the corners ![]() |

| cracking meet (thanks to Rob for organising it, cracking roads and that I can keep up with you now , was the hardest I've pushed my car since I've had it, and it stood up well ) some really nice cars, especially the black "striped" octy II vRS, dunno who's it was (makefish?) nice to see all the people I know, and to meet a few new faces! I should be making it down to weston next, if you southerners can make it up here, guess I can make it down south (besides, its an excuse for a **** up wibble's b'day all good stuff, cracking day out!

| I had a great day! Was an excellent turn out and excellent food in the Red Lion! My special thanks go to Phil for giving me a lift to cat and fiddle, jay for taking me to the Red Lion, Steve (Makefish) for letting me drive his car and getting me to Blue John cavern (where no one stopped me buying rock ), Steve (Wardy) for taking me back to cat and fiddle and Ric for giving me a lift home, right to my front door! followed by a small convoy, which I shall entitle the c&f Loz-convoy II hehe! So, is it possible to hitch hike to and from a skoda meet? it sure is

Think i managed to keep up with the big boys pretty well!! hehe P.s. is there a pic of me pulling out of that junction per chance?? Thanks!!! |

| It was a rubbish meeting. The sat -nav was useless, My sense of direction is abysmal, The Mad Wife needed a wee. fabia SE's aren't fast enough, and don't handle properly, and don't stop fast enough. Will someone please buy me a new clutch.

| I must appologise to the two of you that were taking photo's of us coming down to that junction. I honestly thought at first when I saw you both in the middle of nowhere with cameras that you were two sad ramblers either birdspotting or sheep spotting ![]() ![]() That was untill I spotted the Fabia parked at the side![]() Great photo's |
