I would like to come too. But can I be on the possible list for the moment please. It is my mother in laws birthday on the 26th so would make it a break in our journey south. Will be bringing swmbo along, so will have to drive sensibly.

I can't make the 11th or 18th as i'm going to be in Torquay but i may also have plans on the 25th as well now.

I'll see what i can do. I know of a few moutain passes down Ambleside way, not sure if they'd be suitable or if they're what has already been mentioned.

I may well go away on the Sunday and still do the saturday (25th) .... so I can still do the drive... its only one day off, but I'll have to check with the place I'm going.... I'll post the camsite details up when I next drive past and notice the name! lol... I've stayed there (when we were looking for houses up here) and its a good place.... watch this space...
