| Re: 95 or 98/99 RON for 2001 Octavia 1.8t- 150bhp All the engines are capable of running on 95 RON but may not reach quoted performance figures unless they're run on super unleaded or better. If you can afford to, try both and see which your car runs best on.... Chris
