| Alloy wheel refurbishment help Hi, I have just purchased a set of OZ 18" alloys but they require some refurbishment. I live in the North East, approx 8 miles from Durham. Can anyone recommend a place local to me that refurbishes alloys? The best quote I have had so far is £50 per wheel. I have seen some people saying expect to pay approx £25 per wheel, which is more like it! Can anyone help as £200 for a set of four is a bit steep. Cheers, Darren |

| i live in mansfield, notts and paid £45 a corner on a set of BK racing 16" multi spokes. so i would say that for a decent job, £50 sounds about fair. i believe in the motto, 'you get what you pay for'. hope it helps. |

| Sorry, I can't help. But hello to another NE member :-) Whereabouts do you live, exactly? I too am about 8-9 miles from Durham...

| You could give Romax a try in Stockton. I've never used them, but it might be worth giving them a ring. 01642 619196 HTH Ventmore |

| Would say £50/wheel is about the norm for refurbishment.
