bleed valve

Anybody use one? I had one on my renault five turbo, used to unscrew it a few turns and the car used to fly.

Fool's the turbo into overboosting, Iv'e heard the standard rs turbo can take 13psi boost could I use one to achive this?

It wont really work as the engine ECU sets the boost pressure on the Octavia.

Also bleed valves can cause nasty boost spikes.

your old R5 is a lot more simple, not like the octavia like lummox said.

a bleed valve along with upped fueling worked a trea on my TD nova too, think its a bit old skool for the octavia tbh
