Blue flame downpipe trouble

Hi everyone, hope you had a cracking xmas and new year, mine has already brought some suprises. I have a full blue flame exhaust system and over the last couple of days I've noticed it blowing slightly, so I took it took the local garage to get it on the ramps. Expecting a loose clamp or something similar I was quite suprised when the guy showed me what was happening. The flexible section of the downpipe has started to come away from the rest of the pipe(turbo side) and it's blowing rather badly. Has anyone had this with these before, and can it be sorted under a warranty? Many thanks

Blue flame downpipe trouble

Thanks for your feedback guys. In no way do I regret purchasing this fantastic exhaust system, and I mean no offense to Blue Flame. I would not hesitate to buy another one as I believe there are few out there that would compete with the build and general quality of these systems. Thanks again.

Re: Blue flame downpipe trouble

sounds like you have just been unlucky, maybe some excessive play in the system else where has caused the flexi joint to split the pipe... !? just guessig of course, i'm no exhaust expert.

i currently have the standard system on my vRS but will be choosing Blueflame when i change it.
