Re: blueflame

Glad to see you gat a blueflame in the end.
My Blueflame cat and system gave me 10bhp over standard. This was tested with vag-com before and after,so it may not be over accurate

Re: blueflame

I have just assembled my blue flame cat-back system to my Octavia RS -04. I have used the two orginal rubber fixation points. After I have been driving with the car the system tilts a bit.

I can make it look ok by hand

but after it will fall back.

Anyone that have an idea how I could fixate it better?
Is there any natural fixation points i can use?

Regards
Martin

Do you mean that you have the same problem as I do or that your blue flame system hangs in the cars orginal fixation points?

Re: blueflame

Maybe the blueflame is straight, and it's the rest of your car that is squint

Re: blueflame

I had to have mine fitted at a Powerflow centre who cut the rear mount bracket off and re attached another, now it sits perfectly straight and doesn't wobble or move or tilt at all, and its been solid for 25000 miles.

My friend fitted it on his ramp, to be fair the original exhaust tilted too - as it mounts in the same place, I suppose it's to be expected.

I may get it rectified, but not overly bothered by it...for now

Of course you did
When you have more mods than standard you will see more difference.
This is due to the extra gases that need shifting
