I'm well pleased. The quality of finish is exceptional and I think it revises the '1990's look' of the car. No more 'back to black etc.) Money well spent.

Re: Bodyshop transformation...

Very nice. How much did that cost you?

Re: Bodyshop transformation...

Cheers for the comments guys.
If you're tempted to have this done ask if they have experience of smoothing the dimpled plastic trim to a completely smooth finish. Some of the 'shops I approached said they 'could'nt guarantee' the final finish would match the bodywork perfectly so I carried on looking 'till I found a firm with recent direct experience.
Budget around £200 for a pro job.

Re: Bodyshop transformation...

I personally like the look of the black bumpstrips on my red vRS, it breaks the look of the car up and I prefer it, especially when trim gel has just been applied!

Thanks !
I agonised over whether to go ahead with it but (thanks to the lads on this site who helped with the visuals in the photoshop) I'm so glad I did.
Apart from the smoother asthetics it will be much more practical when waxing

Liverpool lad....
Why not post a pic of your car in the photoshop section as I did and see what it could look like ?

Im ok as I know I wont like it For me if makes the car 'bland' in some way if that makes sense.

If you like yours though, fair game!

For a moment I saw the "after" pic and thought you'd had a green/silver flippy paint job
