Boost gauge pipe through bulk head...

This is a discussion on Boost gauge pipe through bulk head... within the Octavia I forums, part of the Skoda Model Discussion Area category; i have never had to cable tie it before. the plastic piping is up to the job....

gdgd thanks dog. will be having a go at fitting it on my days off so will have a long weekend. will fit the electrics first before cutting any pipes in the engine bay. dont suppose you know how to get the radio out as im thinking il use the wires on there

If it's the standard fit one, get a hacksaw blade which fits in th slots and snap it in two then use that as keys (some kenwood keys fit as well)

Fatty has suggested a way to do it - thats how i did mine lol.

you dont have to cut pipes in the engine bay.

cut the pipe you got with the gauge, put the cut part and t-piece on the FPR and then put the original fpr hose onto the other part of the t-piece, with the other now slightly shorter (lol) pipe to be run into the car

my piping doesnt look like the one in the pic. its clear and not blue. will have to check the hole size on the piping. im gonna do the same too

the size should be right. approx 3mm iirc.
