Re: Bought cheap manifold off ebay

If its too good to be true it usually is, the unfortunate thing is people still buy it thus keeping the monkeys in business, It may fit, it may not one thing is for sure though and thats that it will last 5 minutes.

Re: Bought cheap manifold off ebay

Manifold is totally wrong as the exhaust and turbo will not fit onto the manifold.
Don't even think it will even bolt on unless you take the engine out and leave it out due to clearance on the bulkhead.
T3/4 fittment or something like that.

Oh yes, that will fit alright......

I suppose you don't have to use all 4 bolt holes as your turbo only has 3. Oh and the external wastegate will come in handy if you standard integral wastegate gives up.

Give it up.

The sensors read whats going through it...you will have no monolith catalyst to reduce the emissions between the sensors, hence no reduction in emissions will result in cel light coming on.

Re: Bought cheap manifold off ebay

But aren't decats used by a lot of members on this forum?
I have never heard of the cel light coming on.
Oh the cheaper stainless manifolds tend to crack from what i have heard.

If you dont mind the light being on then fine, i would buy a code reader though to make sure nothing else is going on, check regularly... by the way you will find the lambda probes will probably burn out as well.

Should have gone for a 100-200dpi cat pipe,

Phil
