| Brake tool My brakes on my octy tdi 110, are due to be replaced. I have been told there is a special tool for removing/ replacing the brakes, is this correct, how much are they, where could i get one, or has anyone got one locally, as i need to do my brakes tomorrow. All responces are greatfully accepted. Cheers, Chris |

| Re: Brake tool You will need to use a disc brake piston wind back tool for the rear brakes. There are different versions for different car makes. The one below by Sealey looks like it might be suitable. Try Halfords, a local motor factor, or order as I did from Sealey & Draper Tools. Disc Brake Piston Wind-Back Tool with Double Adaptor Sealey VS024

| Briskodian | Re: Brake tool No special tools required for the front. A haynes manual coul dbe worth a look But if you're doing the rears ignore ther "handy hint" for windong back the piston with circlip pliers - it doesnt work. |
