let me catch up... the X reg was what?? and now you have a VRS.... seeing them side by side you really can see the sutle changes...in teh grill and head lights etc...

X was an SLX 1.8T (with Skoda accessories bodykit) - VRS didn't yet exist, then. Although I wasn't in the market to spend VRS money in them days, anyway.

Accessories/bodykit explains the dark purple vRS lookalike swanning round walsall.Not bad looking actually
