| Cai just fitted a cai to my octavia vrs what a difference i had the remap done a few months ago now just put this on. its bloody lethal now power power power its great shame about my fuel bill though doing about 19mpg at the moment not very good but if you want the power you got to pay for it............... |

It may feel faster but I had figures to prove it was actually slower and less torquey (tbefore my web server crashed and lost the info). The carbonio CAI seems to give a much nicer sound, less like a boy racer Nova. |

It's true some CAI will give you a better initial response low down but actually give a loss higher up. Most will fit one purely for the louder DV sound...ones with a pipe from MAF and a filter on the end sound very loud. I have mne as it's a requirement for my IHI...it does sound rather fruity as well though. ![]()

| Re: cai to be honest after i fitted it you do feel the difference ive got mine remaped aswell so its awsome now its quite funny really you get all the boy racers flying up behind you in there rs turbos fiestas etc just slam down a gear boot it and there now where to bee seen and its a skoda good old german engineering |

| Re: cai I found that my carbonio filter really made it easier overtaking before the car had the remap. Before I found that it struggled to really get over 100mph. With just the filter it made a big difference to response and top end. However the remap, filter and TIP made it even better !!!
