Re: cai

Personally, I diddnt get on with the noiuse or performance of the £40 CAI. It may feel faster but I had figures to prove it was actually slower and less torquey (tbefore my web server crashed and lost the info).

The carbonio CAI seems to give a much nicer sound, less like a boy racer Nova.

It's true some CAI will give you a better initial response low down but actually give a loss higher up.

Most will fit one purely for the louder DV sound...ones with a pipe from MAF and a filter on the end sound very loud.

I have mne as it's a requirement for my IHI...it does sound rather fruity as well though.

Re: cai

I found that my carbonio filter really made it easier overtaking before the car had the remap. Before I found that it struggled to really get over 100mph. With just the filter it made a big difference to response and top end. However the remap, filter and TIP made it even better !!!
