Calculate your cars performance

Just came across this site

http://www.letstorquebhp.com/

On the left hand side there is a performance calculator, just enter bhp, weight etc & see what you get.

Anyone know what an Octy 4x4 weighs

Re: Calculate your cars performance

Click on the link to the 'car stats front wheel drive' for a fair few Skodas, unfortunately the 4x4 page is nowhere near as complete

Re: Calculate your cars performance

Some of you may find this a bit tongue in cheek, but I found this on another site a while ago, and entered similar details to friends cars, and the results were pretty accurate.

Acording to my "Technical Data Book" the 4x4 is 1375 - 1470 (depending on equipment fitted).

Hope this helps.

Is that for the Fiesta ST?

If it is I put the weight in at 1165 kg (taken from the Ford site) and considering it's only 45kg than your figure heavier came out with a 0-60 of 8.18 secs???

BTW if it is for the ST, mines on order, should be here end of the month

Re: Calculate your cars performance

I wouldn't pay too much attention to the figures the Performance Calulator generates. It is only a mathmatical formula and takes no account of aerodynamic drag it also assumes a perfect start with no wheel spin.

Accoring to that site my Westfield will get to 60 in 4.68 seconds. Wich is just wrong.

It isnt an ST and it isnt FWD which would be where the difference in figures are

Re: Calculate your cars performance

My car officially weighs 1375.....and with the Awesome RR figures.....
0-60 is dispensed with in ....
8.22 seconds.
Bearing in mind it's a big saloon car, I think that's pretty damned respectable.
But now i need someone to ride shotgun with a stopwatch to show it's faster than that...........
