| Briskodian | Hi to all the Briskodians I know there are a few threads out there on this but i was interested to know if anyone had seen an improvement by changing the type of oil they used. I use Castrol Magnatec 10w 40 the car is a 2000 1.6glxi. My roundtrip to work is 85 miles so the short trip theory does not apply, the coolant level is steady and i have never seen the gunk on the dip stick. When I cleaned the throttle body the breather pipe to the cam cover was completey blocked with the salad cream! Happy Halloween to all Briskodians! ![]() |
