| Briskodian | cambelt all done ! well as title suggests had the cambelt and water pump done today on ma octy cost today me £341. £181 of which was labour but hey has to be done at least i know thats not gonna go on me, at least its not due a service for another 9 thous miles oh and got a new vrs badge for the grill as mine somehow dissapeared !! anyway just thought id post as people are often askin about cambelt prices etc xxsadielouxx ![]() |

Ah nice, useful to know ta, think i'll get mine done soon, had a quick glance at it t'other day (almost 60k) and looks not split at all on outside, though I better double-check to make sure last owner didn't do it already! Incidentally, where in the UK are you? Lovely cheaper north or rip-off south? ![]() |

I changed mine for a metal impeller cause if it the pump goes they have to remove the cam belt and everything just o get at it. I had the cambelt and the water pump changed plus a full service done for £550 at Awsome. oh ya they gave me a trial remap .. I miss it now. |

| Re: cambelt all done ! Motoline Skoda done mine (CB & WP) 230 nuts. ![]() They do specials from time to time, this one was an offer for cars over 3 years old, just fine when it's recomended to change at 4 years. Motoline must have a website, check them out for the offers. ![]()
