Cambelt kit for vRS?

Anyone confirm this kit will be compatible with my MK 1 Octy vRS? I'm pretty sure it will, but would appreciate some confirmation before I buy it. Looks like a cracking kit!

Cheers.

Re: Cambelt kit for vRS?

Just checked on Online spareparts catalogue for AUDI/Volkswagen/Skoda/Seat and they all seem to be correct

It comes in at under $300/£150 shipped, which is an absolute bargain! Gonna get one ordered.

$100 shipping to NZ so it's cheaper for me to get one from Awesome when I'm over in the UK.

Hoping they come into stock soon!!

Re: Cambelt kit for vRS?

Well, I've just had to pay £30 to customs- not happy! Hopefully it should arrive tomorrow. Still works out a fair bit cheaper, but quite irritating!

Blimey Sarah!

How do the charges work? Is it weight or value?

Re: Cambelt kit for vRS?

Customs use Value.

I wouldn't have thought that was especially cheap myself.

Re: Cambelt kit for vRS?

As Stu said
When you get the likes of 200 Carbonio`s , you can get a real hefty bill in from the customs
We do get people complaining of the price differences in $ to £ , but then there are other issues when it comes to parts coming in from other countries
