| Clutch died :(((( Having driven my SLXi Turbo for 9 days (bought with 76k on the clock) the clutch completely died. Much to my dismay as i then found out it was going to cost 1000 pounds to fit a new clutch as it required a new Dual Mass Flywheel to go with it! I have however been told of a "Valeo" clutch kit which consists of a single mass flywheel and heavy duty clutch for 600 pounds fully fitted. Has anyone had one of these fitted or know anything about them as i have been told that 1.8T octavias get through clutches like butter. Any help appreciated. Grant |

| Re: Clutch died :(((( I've not heard of valeo clutches you can get a replacement for less than you've been quoted though from the likes of GSF. Also worth considering is a G60 flywheel and sachs or helix clutch. I assume you bought privately so have no come back on the seller?
