Coil over kit is on full review inside!

Well its taken about 9 weeks bu the coil over kits is finaly on...

As you may rember i took the plunge and went where many feared to tread and made a 259 quid gamble and purchased a Coil over kit from EBAY...delivery took longer then expected but was sent a cool metal skoda key ring as an apology. ..My first impressions of the kit was that it was put together very well..i had orginaly planned to put on the kit myself, i started to take apart the front suspension .... one side was half done and the other totaly done and the shock was off.. 'HANG ON theres a bit missing' i said compairing the kit to the orginal.. yep this confirmed what had been said on here the ARB holder was missing...i coudl continue no further .. so put the car back together on standard shocks...after many emails it was agreed that if i coudl rectife the situdation myself..it woudl save a lot messing about for my ebay conatct and i...off to a garage where i know the chap is a dab hand with a welder..he fabricated two brakets to hold on the ARB and fitted the whole kit yesterday ...Overall im very pleased with it, the car feels very sporty...as to be expected you do feel every bump you go over more then standard kit.. but WOW the diffrence is worth it the car feels so solid around the corners and has lost the lunging of the car when acclarating hard and braking hard..its just stays level...it may get a bit spongier as the kist beds in.. the front of the car at the moment has come down about 35mm and will go a bit further..the rear has not quite come down as far as id like.. so in the futre may get some diffrent springs for the back...in total with the extra cost for fittinng the whole kit has cost me £380 bloody good value for money ! as the cheapest Coil over kit from a shop is approx 500 quid !

The front looks very low, hopefully you wont have to many problems going around left hand corners with the driveshaft hitting the inner wing like I did.
