| Briskodian | Does the Vrs have an adaptive ECU? I have read that the Octy Vrs has an adaptive ECU that "learns" your driving style. Is this true, does it make a big difference and does it still work after a remap? |

| after spending loads of time in town with my dad stop starting, granny driving etc the car feels quite sluggish to me anyways. i recently took it for a blast through the countryside and it really does seem to feel more perky and generally faster since i tend to drive harder and use the car properly . i think it does adapt to a certain degree i.e. lots of slow town driving more response lower in the rev range and taking it for a long country blast makes it more on the ball and more eager. its not drastic though!Last edited by smerko; 26-07-2005 at 18:34. |

| Mine has progressivly got quicker over my first months ownership it does seem as if it slowly learning to go quicker....when I first got it, my previous car, a tdi pd 130 was far quicker.......now the vrs is quicker to high speeds but the old diesel would still beat it to 60 easily
