Does the Vrs have an adaptive ECU?

I have read that the Octy Vrs has an adaptive ECU that "learns" your driving style. Is this true, does it make a big difference and does it still work after a remap?

after spending loads of time in town with my dad stop starting, granny driving etc the car feels quite sluggish to me anyways. i recently took it for a blast through the countryside and it really does seem to feel more perky and generally faster since i tend to drive harder and use the car properly . i think it does adapt to a certain degree i.e. lots of slow town driving more response lower in the rev range and taking it for a long country blast makes it more on the ball and more eager. its not drastic though!

Mine has progressivly got quicker over my first months ownership it does seem as if it slowly learning to go quicker....when I first got it, my previous car, a tdi pd 130 was far quicker.......now the vrs is quicker to high speeds but the old diesel would still beat it to 60 easily
