| Mines' come on for the second time now, 1st time (VAG'd it) it diagnosed a shagged cat. This is not so as it's a 900ml old Blueflame jobbie! Re-set it, 100mls down the road ,,,,,,,,,,, the fecker is on again. Now if the sensor (after the cat) ain't reading correct, does it require cleaning? If so why. ![]()

| Re: Engine Electronics warning light Had similar problems on my 4x4 with the Blue flame, only came on if the car was driven at a constant speed of about 40 for several miles (motorway roadworks etc) I guessed there was sufficent air flow to cool the cat & it looses its efficency, Im no expert but it seemed a plausable theory Assuming the sensors not duff the trick is to space the sensor back a bit & you can get a part from the states to do this. if you PM eddyH he might be able to give you the details of the guy who makes it as I have lost them In your case also keep an eye out for kittens, if the cats shagged thats what normally happens
