| Briskodian | EPC and Traction Control Warning lights Both came on as I was cruising with cruise control ON in a 50mph zone. The Engine stopped. I freewheeled to a halt and after stopping, restarted the car. It ran fine to continue my journey OK. Does anyone know what that is all about? Brake lights are coming on OK on braking. Everything seems to work OK. Just embarrassing plus wife doesn't want to go out in it now. PeterGAH  |

| ECUless  | Re: EPC and Traction Control Warning lights You will need to have the codes read, though don't rule out the the brake light switch. It could be a power supply fault for the ECU relay. |

| Re: EPC and Traction Control Warning lights I'd suspect the brake light switch. They're a common source of issues with cruise control, and with glowplug or EPC lights flashing. |
