| Front Washer Jets Hi there. Just purchased an early 2004 Octavia Elegance Hatchback 19 TDi. Mmmm - very nice, in Black Magic. A little surprised by the front screen washers, which seem to be set rather high. The screen is washed, but water does seem to go everywhere. Our previous Fabia had a much more direct placement. Previous cars could have the jets adjusted by sticking a pin or something in. Can the Octavia jets be adjusted? |

| You sure it doesn't spray in a kinda 'triangle' shape per washer, kinda fanning out? As that's what the Furby ones appear to do?

| Thanks guys - yes they do appear to fan out in a triangle, but it seems to "hit" too high up the screen and covers the roof as well. Goochie - or anyone - how should they be adjusted? Is it the old put something in the nozzle and move around arrangement? Thanks in advance! |

I thought you had to adjust the platform they sit in as the jets are fixed?

| Aha! So, how to adjust the platform or the jets? Somebody must be a washer jet expert ... any ideas? |

| The jets are fixed adjustment, I had a problem with mine and in the end it was down to how the scuttle panel was sitting on the car. The panel was removed and reseated and the problem was gone. The jets are attached to the panel, and if its not fitting properly can cause bad jet alighnment.
