Which fuse for driver's electric window?

Hi All

My drivers window on octy mk1 vrs has packed in. It is down about an inch and a half but wont go back up. Also my interior lights in the head lining also packed in at same time the window jammed. Also now have opening and lockn issues when using the key fob.
I have read many posts about it could be the connectors on the motor.
Anyway before investigating that route.
I want to check out the fuse situation.
Mine is an ex police car and i got no manuals or anything else with the car just the key and V5 Doc.
Please could you tell me which number fuse works the drivers side window and where is this fuse located.
Is it in the main fuse box on edge of drivers side dash.
Would anyone have a picture of the fuse box and bev able to point out to me which fuse is for drivers window.
As when i take the fuse box cover off it doesnt tell me anything on the cover.
Thanks Daz

Re: wHICH FUSE FOR DRIVERS ELEC WINDOW

No mention of a fuse for the windows in the handbook, apart from No: 14 for interior light/central locking. There are also fuses in the engine compartment but no mention of these in the handbook.

Re: wHICH FUSE FOR DRIVERS ELEC WINDOW

I recollect there are instructions in the handbook on how to reset the windows if this fault occurs, if I remember right the method used is to insert the ignition key in the drivers door lock and follow the instructions.

Sorry cannot be more explicit, my Octy (with handbook) is unavailable until Saturday.

Hi

Okay thanks mate.

When you get your manual back on Sat.

Could you possibly see where fuse 14 is located.

Thanks

Re: wHICH FUSE FOR DRIVERS ELEC WINDOW

Fuse 14 (10A) is the third fuse from the left in the third row from the top.

To reset the top position of the closed window, close all the windows with the convenience closing, ie hold the key in the lock in the closing position until all the windows have closed. Release the key then hold it in the closed position for a further 3 seconds or so.
