Golf armrest...

Sorry to post about this again, I know it's come up before. From the posts I have read, people say they fit the octavia but some say they need cutting? I was just wondering if it's possible to make them fit and look standard or if its best to hold out for an Octavia specific item?

Thanks

Have you tried skospares.com

They have an 01 elegance in and (i'm sure some one will correct me if I'm wrong but) I think armrests were standard in these......

Re: Golf armrest...

There is a white ex-plod Octy vRS on Ebay at the mo - the listing says the current owner has added a Golf GTi armrest.
You can see it in a couple of the pictures in the listing.
Maybe the Seller will be friendly enough to give you some details on how easy it was to fit - not sure if the car belongs to anyone on here.

Re: Golf armrest...

My '01 Elegance has an armrest. Not sure if standard but a scrappie seems a sensible option.

Where abouts do these trims come from? I assume they are a Skoda part number. Does anyone have the code please.

The part numbers for the side trims are 1U0 864 279 and 1U0 864 280.
