Good oil filter

what's a goodun? ive seen the K&N ones with the hex on the end to take a socket/spanner on the internet but never heard of someone with one.

oh and if i'm doing an oil change, is there any procedure for priming the turbo with oil or anything obscure? i'm guessing it's just a normal job, but thought i'd check with you lot first!

cheers

Re: Good oil filter

K&N oil filters :S

I've used either genuine ones or FRAM/Mann on my older cars and all have been just fine.

Re: Good oil filter

Use geniune ones, MANN or Bosch. I think MANN make the OE ones.

Genuine ones aren't expensive anyway.

No special precautions needed- fill the filter with clean oil as much as possible, and don't rev the engine at all until the oil has circulated properly.
