headlight washers

Are these supposed to work when you use the windscreen washers??

I have a 1.8 T elegance.

Is there a separate fluid bottle or does it share the same one as the windscreen.

Thanks

Yes, but only when you have the headlights switched on, and it shares the same washer bottle as used by the front and back wipers

Also, you have to pull and hold the windscreen spray on for a second longer than usual to get the headlight washers working.

headlight washers

thanks for the help.

I am not used to so many gadgets on a car

Not had it a week yet but really enjoying it so far.

After a ford focus the skoda really does feel like a luxury car.

Also everyone who has seen my car has been nothing but respectful in regards to the skoda marque.

It seems i have more "street cred" now i am a skoda owner than when i was a ford owner.

On the Furby the book says you have to have the headlights on and the wipers been on for at least 5 sweeps.

They don't work every time, presumably to stop you emptying the water bottle too quickly.

Rob.

I'm in the same boat as you having my Elegance just a week now. You'll soon discover the headlamp washers are, however, pretty useless.

Have you discovered the third sun visor yet ?

yes i have found the 3rd sun visor. I had already heard about it before i got the car.

My friend with a bora TDi had the same thing and he says the sun can still get through in between the middle and normal visors
