HELP ! 3" maf upgrade

help guys
i wana try get my induction ready for when i get a turbo upgrade, they would use a 3"od maf housing, im just tempted to change my induction for the jabba kit , but b4 i spend £230 on it, i wana swap my maf so i can get a jabba kit to fit,
what would i need exactly?
is it just the 3" od maf housing or does the list go on?
thanks in advance for any help

I think you need a airbox form a S3 LCR and then stick a green cotton filter in.
This was good enough for EddyH with his 450bhp Octavia.

The above is to be used when you have the big turbo upgrade!

Re: HELP ! 3" maf upgrade

turbo intake pipe and airbox would have to be changed but also the car wouldn't run ona 3" maf without the correct map as the air readings will be all to c0ck.

also i personally wouldn't bother with a jabba kit as its only a cone filter(£30-40 at most) and a thin alloy heatshield, yes it fits nice and is shiney but i got an mx-5 specific pipercross filter that included a heatshield for my 323 for about £80

i'd go for either a sealed cold air intake like a BMC or equivelent or a carbonio/equivelent.

better gains, colder intake temps and cheaper if you shop around.
