HELP! Problem chaning brake pads on vrs

Hi

New to this site so bear with me. Recently bought a used octy vrs and discovered brake pads were quite worn. Wanted to get them sorted before MOT due (this w/end). Asked my boss (owner of a haulage co.) to order them for me and while I was out driving the wagon he set to and decided to change the pads for me. When I got back to the yard, he told me that something must have gone wrong because the brakes no longer work!

I am a bit annoyed to put it politely. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Cheers

Mark

It could just be the caliper pistons pushed back.

On the vRs rear brakes when changing them do you have to screw the pistons in or do they push in

You have to screw them back in, can get the tool from Halfrauds for under £20.
