Help! What is this part?

Found this resting under my pass side windscreen wiper tonight. Its a black rubber plug with a thread on it, so it looks like it screws in somewhere, VAG part 02A 301 115 A. Where does it go, and why was it resting on the plastic under my wiper blade?

is that the one that goes in the end of the wiper arms?

About the size of a penny plus in diameter.

No idea and i can't check on my car now.

Sorted now, is the plug for the gearbox oil. How it came out i'll never know?
