Re: How to De-Badge?

use a hair dryer to heat up the glue and then some fishing wire to gently saw through the glue and then remove the excess glue if there is any with some white spirit

Re: How to De-Badge?

Naa it wont get that hot.
You will be safe with a hair dryer, a heat gun or anything hotter could harm the paint

Re: How to De-Badge?

Did mine recently too - just glued, bit of heat and they come off okay with a bit of prising!

Re: How to De-Badge?

I used very warm but not boiling kettle water and a plastic scraper to remove my octavia lettering, worked a treat

Re: How to De-Badge?

i found that using a old credit card works the best, dont have to heat the badge up, it gets the badge off fine and just leaves some of the adhesive glue which can be scraped off.

Re: How to De-Badge?

As far as i know, the round skoda badge has pegs on it.
So if you remove it, you'll need to fill/paint the holes.

Re: How to De-Badge?

Skoda badge has pegs on it. The octavia and vrs badge is just glued and will come off with hairdryer and credit card or similar. Hope it helps
