I'm getting one!!

Just been to have a look at a Silver '02 plate vRS at Garlands in Aldershot. The car looked a lot better than the two I have looked at previously, has a couple of small bits of bodywork that they're going to try and tidy up, interior looked nice a clean, bit of sagging to the bolster on the drivers seat, but not much else inside really.
Was a little bit put off by the bodywork issues at first, but then I had some stern words myself and got over it! All it is is a bit of a scuff on the front bumper, and a little chip on one of teh rear arches. They dealer said they'd be able to sort the front bumper and I shouldn't notice it and they should be able to sort the arch too. At first I was a bit put off by it, as we're spending more than I planned to so I wanted it to be perfect, but it looked honest enough. It's got full Skoda history and has just had cambelt etc. done on it.
So anyway, after having a chat to the wife on the way home, we've decided to go for it. No sure when I'll be getting it as it needs to go through their workshop etc. first, but I'm very much loking forward to it!

Re: I'm getting one!!

Ive had a lot of work done by Winchester Motor Co, their sister garage & have always been highly impressed, they have also done one rathe awkward accident repair for me & the standard of that was absolutely brilliant. Hopefully Garlands will give you similar service

Speaking of both Garland and Winchester, here's an interesting little site:

Discounted Skoda parts

(I live in Basingstoke and commute to Farnboro in my vRS)

I must admit, I haven't actually got my Integra anymore, I got rid of it just before christmas! I thought I'd use that pic though as it looks nice and I'd be too embarrassed to have a pic of my current car there, a little ****box Fiesta Zetec-s!
With regards to the comment about the Winchester branch doing good bodywork, that's where they've sent it to have the work done, so fingers crossed!
I'm hoping to pick it up sometime next week, the weekend at the latest. Was pleasantly suprised that my insurance will only go up by £220 for the year, making it around £700 for the year.
