Re: Indicator Relays

The indicator relay is in the back of the hazzard switch
Very common for them to fail
Beauty is , not expensive and easy to do

Re: Indicator Relays

My indicators only work now & again - do you think this might be the same relay?

Many thanks

Re: Indicator Relays

51 plate octavia tdi elegance.

I've not had the problem of them coming on randomly when goin over bumps etc - which seems to be the indicator stalks (judgin from other related threads).

Think I will pop in GSF on the way home & get an indicator relay?

Thanks

Re: Indicator Relays

It's almost certainly the relay and a 2 minute job to change it too

As Sarah said, it's part of the hazard switch so you will need one of them and ask for the new and uprated part as that one shouldn't fail again.

Re: Indicator Relays

Doddle to do , cheesy and me agreeing again
For how much they cost and time to do it , always worth a try
As cheesy said uprated one it the way to go , ends with a 300 IIRC and that is the uprated one for towing

Re: Indicator Relays

The standard one ends in B300, the uprated one in E300.
