| Briskodian | Interior Lights. When you open the doors the front of the car is well illuminated, why didn’t Skoda not put an interior light in the back? It is quite difficult when sorting out the seat belts and baby seats in what is practically total darkness. Does anybody have any ideas as to what I could do to alleviate this? My 10-month-old son loves the torch but the bodywork does not. |

| Briskodian | Re: Interior Lights. My Octy estate has lights in the back. They are alongside the rear grab handles. They don't come on automatically, you have to press them to come on. My 3 yr old finds this very exciting when she gets bored on a long journey, especially at night.

| Briskodian | Re: Interior Lights. It is possible to wire the rear light in to the front one so they all come on together. I've done this on mine and it makes a world of differnce when people are looking for seat belts etc. |

| Briskodian | Re: Interior Lights. There are no light in the back of the car to wire up. Is there an after market modification that could take care of this. I don't want to do it as I would make it look like sh*^t. |

| Re: Interior Lights. ah ha spooted a trend... must be something that the vRS doesn't have which standard octavias do. It only pops into the ceiling so should be easy enough to fit.

| Re: Interior Lights. I had the same problem. I ran a cable from the interior light in the front and bought two 12" (Sadly) Blue Neon lights to put by the rear headrests. (I meant to by white neons but............ The blue does not make it super bright in the back but it is an improvement. The white ones would have been a lot better. It wasn't difficult to do. The front light has 2 screws in it under the clear plastic cover. Run cable accross roof ligning down a pillar. Run it through to the back and away you go. Am pretty sure there are pictures on here of where to connect the cable on the front light. This is important as it is what makes them come on when you unlock or open the doors. ah found it..........http://www.briskoda.net/forums/fabia...ootwell+lights Hope this helps |

| Briskodian | Re: Interior Lights. Just have a look round a scrappy for some nice looking rear ones. I suspect most VAG ones will be the same. Then run some wires from the front light... the trick will be trying to find the routing of the wire and where you can easily tap in On the plus side, things like that are easy to accidentally forget you've put in your pocket when at the scrappy. (did I just say that? oops...)

| Re: Interior Lights. i can confirm. No rear lights on the vRS. Apparently vRS drivers shouldn't be married . or at the least not have kids. They mess up the white upholstry.I for one do not have a wife. And no kids either....at least not any i know of. ![]()

| Re: Interior Lights. Does anyone know where the interior light circuit can be tapped into rather than running wires from the light in the roof? Perhaps somewhere down the A pillar or fuse box? Ian
