Jetex Exhaust movement?

Can anyone else who has the Jetex exhaust tell me if theirs moves from side to side at all? Mine keeps shifting over to the left of the exhaust cut-out, I can push it back into the middle no problem but after the next journey it's back over at the left hand side.

Could I be missing a fitting or something? I didn't notice this in the first coupe of weeks after I had it fitted so I'm wondering if something has changed or if they just do this.

Re: Jetex Exhaust movement?

This looks lob-sided as it stays on the left and I'm sure it didn't to start with. Just a bit concerned something may have come loose. Probably just me being paranoid about it

Re: Jetex Exhaust movement?

The hangers on the rear box should have two spring clips on, one on each side of the rubber hanger. This stops any side ways movement.Mine came with the four clips.

Re: Jetex Exhaust movement?

UPDATE: One of the sping clips had split slightly and moved along the mount. I've replaced it with a cable tie so I'll see how that holds it...

Re: Jetex Exhaust movement?

I had the same problem with my Jetex. If the cable tie doesn't hold then try a hose clip.

That's exactly what I did earlier!

Cable tie didn't even last one journey so I used a hose clip with a bit of rubber to stop it slipping. Just hope it holds a little better.
