Re: Just Fitted My Cai But Have A Problem Anyone Help

Mine came on straight away after having the ABD thing fitted. I think it was just a shock to the system, the fault code was cleared and then everything was OK.

Re: Just Fitted My Cai But Have A Problem Anyone Help

I fitted mine at the same time, no problems then.
Went to IP today for the re-map and there were 1001 fault codes reqistered! Turned out that fitting the CIA involved disconnecting the battery, this lead the ecu to belive there were faults to earth all over the place (rapid no volt syndrome)!
I bet if you get yours checked and fault codes cleared, the problem will not re-appear

Did you reset the ecu & throttle position sensor?

After you've fitted the cai and the car is cold, open the bonnet and driver's door and put the keys in the ignition so all the fans etc in the car come on. You should hear some beeping etc coming from the engine. When all the noises have stopped, close bonnet and door and turn the engine on. Leave to idle for a few mins.
