Re: Key??? "should" do - the part number sequence and operating frequency is correct, the only anomally is the "G" suffix - normally would be AG(for 2button) or AH(for 3button), so not sure of the implication of that. If it's not very expensive, worth a punt I'd say

Re: Key??? It will work, but the extra button (boot popper) won't as the Octavia doesn't have this facility.

Re: Key??? odd.. seems like some do and some don't.. Presumably all have the locking motor in the tailgate to lock and unlock via the normal central locking? Maybe there's a (vagcom) module configuration that can enable or disable the remote boot unlock?

| Re: Key??? Depends on the version of the convience module you have. But my understanding is that all vRS have the right module because of their age. Edit: Ah I was talking about estates due to them coming out on an 03 plate. Older hatches may actually use an older model module.

Re: Key??? Depends if you want to use the whole key or just the remote part (which can be clipped into your current key). If you need a complete key, then you will have to get the key blade cut, if it's supplied as a blank, or buy a new keyblade and get it cut to suit if it's a pre-used keyblade.
