Re: At long last!

vRS

Had a test drive yesterday and can't wait till I pick it up now! Can anyone tell me if there is a master security key to reset (for example) the stereo if the battery is disconnected or will I just get the standard 2 keys? I've heard that some cars have these, and the costs can be very high for a replacement!

Cheers

Re: At long last!

Stereo is coded to the ECU, so as long as its the orignal stereo its all good, but there is a code if required.

There is a key code for the keys.

Both my key and radio code are on a long keyring style tab.

Welcome to the vRS club.

Thanks guys, can't wait!

Are most people happy with the factory stereo or do most change the equipment?

Re: At long last!

The factory stereo is ok'ish. However you may find the speakers are crap, when I had my vRS changing the speakers improved the sound no end.
