Lovely motor, who was it? Hi good old Soviet here, Today I was driving on the M4 on the east bound side, at 12:33 hours and was just coming up to the Chippenham turning when a Skoda saloon flashed past me. I was doing the regulatory speed limit, and so I estimate the speed of the Skoda to be about a ton, if not more. It was going too fast for me to be able to see the type, but it was a beautiful gold colour, which I have never seen before. I was admiring it as it pulled away in front of my pretty rapidly, when it did my pet hate ERRRRRRRRRRRR! it pulled out from the middle lane in to the fast lane to overtake, with out any use of indicators. Was it a Briskolian? as it was a beautiful car, but I can't say the same about the way it was being driven. 'Bat out of hell', 'just had a row with the misses' type of driving. Any one we know? GOLD SKODA SALOON? Soviet Last edited by soviet; 09-08-2007 at 17:46. Reason: sp

Re: Lovely motor, who was it? Aw come on, there can't be many gold Skoda saloons around. I almost feel like I want one, as it looked a picture. Nice car!

Re: Lovely motor, who was it? Sahara Beige, no need to swear, very posh. It looked like gold to me, but it certainly turned my head. Gilly or lady E? if they are bats out of hell, then it could possibly have been. No offence as I have seen worse! Soviet Last edited by soviet; 09-08-2007 at 18:25. Reason: sp

Apologies as I missed the link in this thread. No the car had a much more yellow-y golden colour than the one in the link. Soviet | |

Re: Lovely motor, who was it? the first paragraph sounded like me but no mine is black and on the way back tonight it was grey with all the dust that its now covered in after having to drive down a mile long bumpy dirt track to get into ashton court (bristol balloon fiesta), the bar-stewards this year have decided to make all cars go by dirt track in and not the lovely tarmac i have been use to. ![]()
