| Re: Miltek louder when warm? The miltek I had on my old vRS expanded quiet a bit when it was hot, so yes its possible the expansion is causing the louder soundtrack.

| Re: Milltek louder when warm? I would have thought the opposite was true. Listening to a loud soundtrack for a prolonged period is likely to cause deafness. Therefore, the longer the listening period the quieter the exhaust note appears. ![]()

| Re: Milltek louder when warm? It certainly is SWMBO has put her foot down and ordered me to remove it, I'm not impressed having spent ages (and £) sorting the adaptor to make it fit! It's barely any louder than standard when it's cold but once warm it has quite a deep note on idle which apparently she can't live with, so it's back to the drawing board ![]() |

| Re: Milltek louder when warm? Just stay that because the Milltek is different, the old system had to be 'cut off', and it would be very expensive to re-fit as it would need a new standard system due to where the cut was made! Worth a try
