misfire/loss of power on octavia 2001 tdi 110hp

having problems with my 2001 octavia with what feels like a misfire/running and sounds like popping through exhaust. starts first time and seems fine when cold this problem happens as the engine warms up getting worse when fully warmed up. has new maf sensor and has covered only 76k, any help would be appreciated

Sounds like it could be a stalling / sticky turbo.

Have a search on here, although I am sure others will be along with more info too.

A misfire on a diesel!! Only thing I can think of that would cause a diesel to misfire would be an odd carbon build-up creating a hot spot in the engine, which ignites the fuel before the compression effect would do.

its ok now ive sorted it , it was the water temperature sensor and little problem with the boost , thanks anyway
