Hi guys, In the next two weeks I'll hopefully be knocking on the door of 225bhp+ and I remember someone on here mentioning that I should investigate an engine mount upgrade sooner rather than later. I think the part was a VAG part ie something from one of the TT models but I cant find the PM (probably deleted ) which had the details.Does anyone know what I should be ordering, ideally with a part code. Many thanks, Lee

Do you mean the dog bone engine mount? if so you can get uprated bushes for your existing mount from powerflex or you can buy a full dog bone mount from one of the tuners(can't remember who though)

I dont know which one it is tbh - Im not sure if the problem is that the dog bone mount itself isnt strong enough for the additional movement or that the bushes should be uprated simply to minimise the engine movement. ![]()

As bengie said, the mounts do transmit a bit of vibration through the car but they do help with traction because the engine doesn't move as much

The poly bush kit comes in 3 pieces. Just put the 2 bigger bushes in and leave the small round bush standard. You get too much vibration with all 3.
