| Re: My door Could be the control module in the door maybe, might have dodgy connections Has water got into the door? Maybe getting Skoda to stick vag com on your car might give a clue as to what could be wrong

| Re: My door it was a bit wet inside the door when i had the door card off, but i just assumed that to be normal cause of rain anyway?which bit would be the control module?the bit next to where the door locks to the car? |

| Re: My door I've been having the same problem for about a month now, and I think I haver narrowed it down to the actuator mechanism on the lock itself. Power is getting through to the unit, but it just doesn't seem to want to work any more, so I am in the process of sourcing another one form a scrapper to try that. Skoda want £96 + vat for a new one ![]() !!!!!!!!

| Re: My door I was going to suggest the same thing, seems to be a common problem for the VAG range. We've had a few MK3 & MK4 golfs were the same thing happens. A bit of WD always seems to sort it |
